The Assignment That Changed Everything

There are moments in life that shift your entire perspective.

Moments where everything you thought you knew about love, purpose, and calling suddenly feels like a shadow compared to the light you now stand in.

For me, that moment was you.

Before you, I thought I understood purpose.
I had dreams, ambitions, goals I thought defined my identity. I measured success by accomplishments, by checked boxes and titles. I thought I knew what it meant to walk in purpose—until the day I held you in my arms and realized that everything I had done before now was just preparation.

Because you, my child, are not just a part of my life—you are the mission.

God assigned you to me.
Out of all the souls He could have entrusted to the world, He placed you in my womb, in my arms, and ultimately, in my heart. And in doing so, He redefined what it means to be chosen, called, and sent.

Motherhood is more than a role—it’s an assignment.
One that stretches you, humbles you, refines you, and breaks you wide open in the most sacred of ways.

Watching you grow—seeing the way your eyes light up at the smallest discoveries, the way you mimic my every move, how you look to me for comfort, answers, and love—there is no greater feeling.
Because in every moment, I’m reminded that I’m not just raising a child…
I’m nurturing a soul.
I’m shaping a heart.
I’m stewarding a gift straight from Heaven.

And that gift? It teaches me more about God than any sermon I’ve heard.
It shows me what unconditional love looks like in real time.
It makes me fall to my knees in gratitude and prayer, because I know I can’t do this without Him.

This purpose—this divine mission—is sacred.
It’s not always easy. There are days I feel unqualified, overwhelmed, and unseen. But even in those moments, God whispers, “I chose you for this. Not because you are perfect, but because you are willing.”

So if you’re a mother wondering if you’re doing enough,
if the dishes undone and the toys on the floor are overshadowing the sacred work you’re doing—
I want to remind you:
You are walking in divine purpose.
You are holding your assignment in your arms.
And every hug, every correction, every prayer whispered over your child—it matters.

This is the greatest mission field.
And watching my child grow, knowing God handpicked me to guide them through this life, is the most beautiful, humbling honor I’ll ever know.

Motherhood isn’t just part of your story—it’s one of your greatest callings. And if God gave you the assignment, He’s already equipped you for the mission.
